What Is Dragonkind?
Dragonkind is Rebecca Yarros’s official online interactive experience connected to the Empyrean world of Fourth Wing. It invites would-be riders into the Rider’s Quadrant and Threshing, where survival and dragon bonding are part of the adventure.
How to Play Dragonkind
- Visit the official Dragonkind experience.
- Create or verify an account if required; follow the email-code instructions.
- Enter the Rider experience.
- Begin Threshing when available.
- Read each encounter and make your choices.
- Try to survive to the bonding stage.
- View the result presented by the official experience.

The public entry page is accessible without payment. We have not independently verified every account or gameplay step; follow the current official entry requirements.
Is Dragonkind official?
The experience at dragonkind.com credits Rebecca Yarros and identifies Yarros Ink in its privacy policy. This guide is unofficial.
Can you die in Dragonkind?
Yes. The author’s FAQ explicitly discusses dying during Threshing.
Can you retry Dragonkind?
Yes. The official FAQ says you can try again after a few hours and keep trying until you bond.
Can you get a Black Dragon?
The official FAQ says all dragon colors and tail types are possible. It does not publish a guaranteed Black Dragon route.
Can you get a Blue Dragon?
All colors are possible according to the official FAQ. No guaranteed Blue Dragon sequence is supplied there.
How many dragon colors are there?
Our quiz uses six familiar colors. The official FAQ says all colors are possible but does not enumerate a complete color catalog, so six is not presented here as an exhaustive official count.
Is there a guaranteed Dragonkind route?
We have not verified one. Treat player routes as reports rather than guarantees.
